A dwarf evergreen tree forming a column of intensely glossy, deep emerald green foliage. Each leaf is characteristically leathery and tough, with rusty-brown, fuzzy undersides. During late spring and into summer, fragrant bright white flowers emerge from velvety buds, followed by cone-like fruits that mature in fall.
