Gooseberry (Ribes) 'Pixwell'

A deciduous shrub with a vigorous, bushy habit. Green leaves are rounded and lobed. Nearly thornless variety. Harvest the edible, greenish-pink to purple fruits in mid-summer. Fruit is very flavorful, often used in baking and preserves. Self-pollinating.
